Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a driver? It's not being recognized by XP - thats the only negative of the whole upgrade process from 98.

Which model of 380? Can you give it in this way= 2635-XXX where the X's are the exact model.
It's IrDA 1.1 on all of them, pretty standard stuff, don't know why the transceiver isn't recognized.
Did you upgrade from 98 to XP or did you install a fresh copy?
Have you checked the Lenovo - Support & Downloads site yet?

Hi,

It's 2635. The install was after formatting the drive, so it's a fresh install.

2636-XXX, like 2635-3AU is a 380D with 150MMX, 12.1" SVGA TFT LCD and so on...... I don't have a 380 and it helps to know the model so I can find which transceiver it uses and also look it up on Lenovo's Support site..... thinkwiki.org etc., etc..

Have you updated the BIOS to this yet; http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... SHY-3YVL6D

Unfortunately the most current OS supported by Lenovo for the 380Z is W2K but those drivers will usually work with XP.

Try the BIOS update, then see if this driver works; http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... SHY-3XZMX3
