As i understand i have two places for memory in my tp 570.
1) at the back of the comp.
2) on the motherboard, and to replace it i have to open the computer. ( i'm not sure 100% )

So if i buy 2 sticks of 256mb memory, i will reach 512mb.
James wrote that i can't go over 256mb, because the tx board limitation.
So how 320mb is ok? (256mb + 64mb)

You can't go over 256MB of memory per SLOT and there's only one slot available on the 570 as the memory on the MB is soldered in place chips, not a removable memory stick.

64MB base memory plus a 256MB stick = 320MB max.

Motherboards in laptops are not swappable between models and are only moderately swappable within a model range, e.g. a T21 MB in a T20.

You cannot take an X series MB and put it in a 570/570E case.
