Hi guys, new here.

Anyways, I read the FAQ on how to get into the BIOS by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Ins, and it's not working. Someone told me that the BIOS on this particular model has to be accessed by using a boot disk? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Both accounts are a wee bit off the mark.

Just press "F1" at boot up to get into EZ setup = Thinkpad BIOS.

Press and hold F1 when you turn the machine on until you get into EZSetup. It's a very simple BIOS and does not have many options you can set.

Wow... quite a basic BIOS. I was expecting something like a Award BIOS or AMIBIOS. No big deal, it's just a DOS game laptop.
