Hey tpers,

Recently updated my 600x with XP and decided to install all the IBM support drivers and bits for the website. Followed the instructions for installing the Battery Maximiser, Configuration utility, Personalization Editor, On Screen display etc. Rebooted and yet nothing. I'm in XP and I can't find any sign of these softwares being installed on my machine! This is so frustrating - I'm not exactly a noob so must be missing something obvious.

Also frustrating is that the fn+Backspace is not muting the sound - worried that I've lost fn functionality in XP upgrade. Hibernation still works etc but I'd be frustrated if I'd lost that functionality and especially the fn+f7 use.

Sorry if this is all obvious but after updating my little badboy with an 850 cpu, maxed ram, internal wireless I'm exhausted to solve the above problems as well!!!!

Discovered the System Update software and installed that which helped me successfully install the Configuration Utility. Still no luck in installing the "On Screen Display" or the Personalization Editor. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
