TP-600 and CD-ROM

#1 Post by Geri » Mon May 31, 2004 10:20 pm

I have a friend with a TP-600 that the CD-ROM has apparently died. I don't know much about that machine and I just replaced my T-23's UltraBay CD-ROM with a CDRW unit. The CD-ROM is the Teac CD-224E and I was wondering if it will work in my bud's TP-600. Thanx for any help.

The T series CD drive won't fit into the 600 series. Get one from Ebay. You can get a CD-ROM for $20, a DVD-ROM for $25-40.

Come on, that only happens on TPs running Win 95. I don't think he has Win 95 on his TP600.
