#1 Post by Judintheskys » Wed Dec 08, 2004 11:43 pm

Hi,
I install a new H/D (IBM 30GB) & Installed WinXP Pro.(SP2 too) Every so often the blue screen of death comes on.
Anyone know why?
Thanks Allot & Happy Holidays to ALL...

You really need to help us help you.

When you get the BSOD, what does it say failed? Can you give us the contents of the BSOD?

If you can, set up your computer to enable boot logging. Then you can look at the Boot Log to see if anything has been entered.

Did you recently clone a drive using Norton Ghost? Ghost can cause BSOD errors when you move a cloned drive from its original computer to a new one.

Hope this helps.
