i1300 1171 RAM MOD

#1 Post by NautTboy » Thu Apr 17, 2008 9:46 pm

I can't believe a Pentium III with 750Mhz is only capable of accepting 192Mb Max of RAM.

Is this modifiable? Like the 240X by cutting the onboard RAM?

Oops, i think I just posted on the wrong thread.
-mod comment: No problem! I moved it for ya!

1300i Series

#2 Post by furiousmonkey » Fri May 16, 2008 7:10 am

I have a 1300i Series 750mhz, I love it, I have an entire office setup with thinkpads. My 1300i runs as my print server.

I installed 320mb of ram and it took it. The book says that it can only accept 192mb, but I think that most people have had success adding 256mb RAM.

Good luck
