My 1300i hiding ports

#1 Post by furiousmonkey » Tue May 27, 2008 8:49 pm

My fan went in my 1300i yesturday, so this morning I pulled the thing completely apart.

I was looking at the motherboard, and discovered two covers on the back, one was hiding my ethernet card, and the other was hiding a small firewire port?

I have owned this old girl for over two years, and never knew it had either of these functions.

I also discovered the internal wireless card was a standard mini pci slot under the keyboard.

These old things are really quite awesome.
