Problem Installing more memory

#1 Post by Judintheskys » Wed Dec 15, 2004 9:49 pm

Hi,
On my Thinkpad 600X I have 256MB in one slot & 64MB in the other.
When I try to put 128MB in the one with the 64MB blue screen comes up with error & says memory dumb..
Anyone one know why? :?:
Thanks..

What are the specs on the 128MB stick you're attempting to install?

The 600X requires PC100 lo-density memory.

I got it from ebay. They said it was for a 600X.
All is saids on it is IBM 128MB.
I pulled it out & put back the 64MB. Is there a way to tell
if its low Den?
Thanks & Happy Holidays..
Anyone here from Miami or Fort Lauderdale FL. ?
Take care...
