Hi All,

Would anyone know of a mini-PCI V.92 modem that would fit in the 600X? It also could have LAN, wireless etc. on the card but all I need is the modem.

I'm a little rusty on the differences between V.90 and V.92. What feature are you looking for that the factory V.90 MiniPCI card does not allow? FYI, an attempt to transplant a T2x MiniPCI modem/WiFi combo card into a 600X did not work:

I'd like to get modem-on-hold so I can be notified when a telephone call comes in. V.90 didn't have this but v.92 does, if my understanding is correct.
