A question re my first IBM laptop

Does anyone know the model's name? It was pre-thinkpad, gray, and had a small screen that popped up, like Wall-e's eyes. But it was a lap top. Screen was about 6" and it came out in the late eighties I believe. I'd like to get official and list my machines
Also, I owed the prototype thinkpad which I bought from an outlet in Woburn, Mass. It was a 386 SLX, maybe the 25 but I think it was a one-off. Not internet compatible. Got it in 1994.
Both are in my will to go to Bill's "museum"

If you had a picture, that would probably help too.

1994 saw my first Internet machine. IBM 486DX2 and 28.8 dial-up. I got one of the simplest email addresses then, that morphed in 1995 into my current email address. Time flies. ... JDH

No, Harry. It was a grey box and half of it, on the front (on top) was hinged and popped up to be the "screen" with the keyboard underneath. I guess the hardware was in the entire back half. Funny looking little guy. I may have a picture in storage but not on me. Sigh...
Gviri, you found it!

Thanks! It was the IBM PC Convertible. I got it in 1988 and now I remember the handle. And it weighed 13 lbs. How time flies! Thanks, I'll add it to my roster now. Oh, I still have it... in storage, too.

I have a PS/Note dating back to 1993, probably a 365/25. Still use it because I have one MSDOS data base that can't be converted.
So it is still useful.
