OK
Of the 12 i1300 I bought/traded/was given I have 2 left
These two wont run XP unless you have years to wait.
I suspect the incredibly slow HDDs that I was left with after a salvaged everything for the other 10.
Those 10 went to rising Seniors at the end of last school year, in exchange for 100 hours of community service and a "B" average grade.
Its odd when my wife and I set up the parameters for giving the units away, not a single one of the students we chose needed any additional hours, all of them were already active in the community!
I digress.....
I have multiple computer printers set up at the house.
Counting the RS232 port each of these i1300 should be able to run 3 printers each (1 RS232 and 2 USB ports)
XP is out, but would 2kPro or 98se be easier to set up for remote printing, 90% of the house is already on XP
Your thoughts?
