Fastest fix: Take it to a repair shop.

Next fastest: Go to repair shop and buy replacement keyboard assembly.

8611 means the TrackPoint has failed.

Ooooh! Another solution is to go into the BIOS and disable the TrackPoint. Use an external mouse instead. You might still get errors, though. I haven't tried it myself.
