I'm wondering about this... I have three 560's. One's hard drive keeps freezing, another one keeps claiming ntoskrnl32 or something is corrupted, (Even after a reinstall and a few normal bootups.) and the last one has none to speak of. I know people have used the CF card adaptors before, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever used an SD one. I already have SD cards, and it would be easier for me to use. Would the 560 recognize it? It has trouble with anything larger than 8GB, so I'm wondering if it will have other troubles too.

I would guess and say that most likely a Secure Digital (SD) IDE adapter would work, but you may not get the "fast as hard disk" speeds out of it unless you have the quickest ones. The fastest SD cards seem to be rated at 200x (30MB/s), which is significantly slower than Ultra DMA mode 4 (ATA-66; 66MB/s) or UDMA mode 5 (ATA-100) in a T23. However your 560 appears to use ATA-33 so that might a better match with existing SD cards.

8GB SD cards appear to be available only in the SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) format. so that particular adapter will not work. This one is supposed to:

Well, since I'm running a 560, I'm not too concerned with speed. Nor am I intending to use 8GB cards, I meant it can't handle larger than 8GB HDD's (or, I assume, at least.) I just wanted to know if it will work. I will probably get the one I listed since it is alot cheaper. Thanks a ton! :D
