Hi,
Here is a link to an auction for a floppy drive
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0263584775 The floppy case won't take a CD drive ... without searching the net I cannot say whether IBM had a ZIP drive to fit it .. if your ZIP drive has a PCMCIA card or can be connected via the parallel port then, as long as there is a driver for the W9x OS you are running it should work.

You should be able to use any PCMCIA CD drive that has drivers available for DOS as you will need these to get the w98 install started from the floppy. Easiest is if the drive comes with a pre-built DOS boot disk, otherwise the drivers will need to be added to your boot floppy and Config.sys and autoexec.bat files will need to be updated to load the drivers. You may also need to load the thinkpad pcmcia driver on the boot floppy.
