Thinkpad 600E HEEEEEEELP!!!!

#1 Post by Guest » Sun Jan 09, 2005 6:03 pm

I have a problem with my Thinkpad 600E. I got a car adapter for it that wasn't right and it ended up frying the power adapter's port. Since my battery's dead, I bought a replacement motherboard on ebay, but the first motherboard seems to be stuck in the back! (where's the hidden screws!?!?! :? ) Until my friend comes over to check it out, any explanations, pictures, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Did you follow all of the instructions in the Hardware Maintenance Manual?
