570 hard drive capacity

i have a new to me 570, and the test software says it is a 6 gig drive, but i am only able to use 2 gigs after formatting it to remove xp pro. how do i format it to be able to use the full drive

It sounds like you formatted it to FAT filesystem which is limited to 2 gigs. Try reformatting it to FAT32 and you will be OK.

ok thanks for the reply. i just found that out and ran partition magic. this forum is great.
