Hello friends:
My laptop is IBM ThinkPad i Series, model 1161-217. The ribbon LCD cable is bad, but it not have broken threads (verified).
When I have disassembled the shield of the connector that goes to the VGA-motherboard, I have see that has integrated circuits, and I think that some of these integrated circuits is bad.
(see the picture)
I don't know really if that is integrated circuits because it only has printed the number 470, and I can't to determine if it is resistors, capacitors or some other SMD electronic component.
Somebody has repaired a cable of these?, somebody knows that electronic component are those?, any idea?.
Thanks.
