Just rebuilt a 600E and when it works, it does pretty good. Randomly, I get a BSOD saying the BIOS is reporting something has failed that prevents windows from running any more. I've ruled memory out, and am testing with just the onboard 32meg. I didnt know windows 2000 would run on 32meg! If I cold boot, the system works again fine until the next crash. I ran the system tests in EZsetup, and when the system board is tested, I get a graphic saying it failed with these codes
DEV001
ERR 91
FRU 3610
what does this mean? It's not like it's outright failed, but something is certainly dodgy.

Re: 600E random windows 2000 crashing
"DEV001" refers to the system board (i.e., motherboard). FRU "3610" code is in two pairs; the first two numbers are the first suspected device and the last two digits is the second device. Code 36 is the battery pack and code 10 is the system board. Details can be found in the Hardware Maintenance Manual here:

I've never been able to find a table which lists the "ERR" codes. Not sure if that's going to be much use. I'm assuming that you're running the system with an AC adapter so even if the battery pack is low or somehow defective, I don't know why that would cause a BSOD. I'm also assuming that you are running the internal memory diagnostic. You might want to try memtest86+ as that might have a more effective testing method than what's in Easy Setup:
