Does anyone know how to open the case of the IBM 755cd? I know how to work on desktops but I have not worked on a laptop before. If anyone knows about this could someone please advise me on the correct way to do this so that I don't break something that I might potentially need? Thanks!-----Archangel

See the FAQ page on how to get your Hardware Maintenance Manual. The 755CD is old though, so it's hard to find.

You need tpvol2.pdf, which covers a lot of models including the 755CD. It will show you how to take it down to the case if you want.
