Max. possible hard disk for Transnote?

Hello,

I recently bought two IBM Transnote's (a left and a right handed one) which I and my girl friend want to use at work during meetings.
The original 20Gb disk is slow. I want to speed up things and install a faster and bigger hard disk in both Transnotes.
Will the Transnote accept any size hard disk?
Or is there a limit? Possibly 120Gb maximum?
I know my 240X has a 120Gb limit and as the 240X and Transnote are both Pentium 3's and from about the same age, I was wondering if the Transnote also has this limit.

I'd imagine that you can run anything under 137GB on a Transnote, but 120GB is a safe bet for a machine of that generation.

Hello ajkula66,

thanks for the answer.
I decided not to experiment and ordered two 120Gb hard disk drives today.

Hello Bill,

I know I need PATA drives. All Thinkpads I own are from an "older" generation and need PATA drives. Thanks anayway!
