Where can I get 770Z RAM?

Older ThinkPads.. from the 600, the 7xx, the iSeries, 300, 500, the Transnote and, of course, the 701

Where can I get 770Z RAM?

#1 Post by Bookworm » Sun Jun 07, 2009 12:04 am

Where can I get PC133 RAM that is compatible with the 770Z? Everything on ebay ships from Hong Kong, and they only accept pay pal. I do not use pay pal and I am not interested in ordering from outside the United States or Canada.

In that case, you might want to post a Wanted ad here in the Marketplace conference or consult your local craigslist site.

The 770Z systems initially used PC66 SDRAM modules. Given the age of these, you would have better luck looking for "low density" 256MB PC100, aka FRU 33L3069 or 33L3070. There may also be a potential issue with the maximum amount of memory you can install in that system:
