It is one with cable.

You can see it in the manual page 191 and FRU# on page 194.

Do you have one of this TP? If not, please don't reply. Do you know how many version there is for 1200/1300? What you see is what I saw, but that's not it for mine. Again it's like the PC motherboard cmos battery, snap on snap off. Please anyone with similar model 700mhz 1161 43U. I will upload picture when I can.

Those batteries are nearly always CR2032 (thicker version 3.2mm) or CR2025 (thinner version 2.5mm).
Both give 3V, and are widely available if you don't need cables attached.

I know we all try to but sometimes we forget.

Ok, went to Walgreens and grabbed me CR2032, it was too big in circumfrence. I took it back exchange for CR1616 but have not tried it out yet. It is also 3v.

Your 'antique' might have this CR1220 battery: http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/48-9281 ... e-RTC.html
Don't you have the old battery?

Just a heads up-- be real gentle with the battery holder. I've seen a similar setup in an R30 where the battery holder snapped off with the battery.

As I mentioned previously, I misplaced it. I took it out and was gonna go get one to replace but I dont know where I put it. You know how small those batterys are. Well, talking bout it, I was gonna try the one I just bought CR1616 I lost it again. [censored] it, that's $3.99 plus tax. I might just go get another one try the CR1220.
