Yes genuine charger for thinkpad if just plugged to wall without connecting it to laptop it gets warm, all three chargers I have did this.

Any possible hazard issue?

What non-oem charger can i buy to remedy this if necessary?

How warm is 'warm'? If it is only slightly warm I'd say your okay. Nearly every ac adapter I have for my laptops get warm, even when not connected to a laptop. If it's so warm you have problems holding it, then I would say you have a problem.

The two questions I have are, "What are the current ratings of the three AC adapters?" and "What system(s) are you using the AC adapters with?". Attempting to power a T41 using a 600-era power supply (i.e., 3.36A), for example, will probably stress the supply since the T41 is rated at 4.5A. It doesn't mean that the laptop will always draw that much current; it just might under some circumstances. If the supply is being overworked in those cases, it definitely will become warmer than "normal".
