TransNote ThinkScribe Problem

#1 Post by Matt4495 » Sat Dec 26, 2009 8:19 pm

I just got a TransNote (2675-61U) off ebay, I have almost finished setting up Windows XP Tablet PC 2005, my last problem is getting the ThinkScribe to work. I installed IBM Ink Manager v1.5 from Cross' web page. I can't figure out how to import the ink, at first the little lcd on the ThinkScribe was giving me a error that looked like the Low Memory error but only had the little lines on the left side. Shortly there after i found the reset button on the ThinkScribe and used it. Now the little LCD is displaying a number "01" with the hourglass in the top right corner, no other lights are lit anyware on the ThinkScribe and i cannot affect them at all, only with a reset then it just goes back to the priviase state. I have Ink Transfer installed configured to Com2 at 115200 Baud. The Pen Contact Light at the top blinked a few times before i reset it the fist time but will not anymore, i have applied the Dummy Com fix. I am minerly techy so i can give other information as requested. I have no documentation in analog and no disks. I Have not been able to find Ink Manager v1.0 anyware, i am not sure if it is an incompatability with the v1.5 software or not.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: It was a software incompatability, got the v1.0 software from http://www.transnote.info/, Thanks to all those who looked
