i series Thinkpad 1161-92M Battery

#1 Post by Lord Tazzler » Mon Feb 21, 2005 1:53 am

Hi Folks,

I have a quick & hopefully not silly question.

The Battery Maximiser Guage indicates 0% charged, but will not charge when the AC power is connected.

The battery status indicator just below the screen, shows orange which means it is charging.

Does this mean that only the battery is stuffed or do I have more sinister problems luking in the laptop?

Can anybody help on this one

Cheers

It sounds like your battery has finally given up.
