I have a 600e type 2645-51u with windows 2000 sp4 installed. The Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g wlan pcmcia card is a type 2 cardbus card. When I put the wlan card in the status light comes on once and then goes off. When i perform a hardware search the card is not recognized.
I have another Cisco wlan card a 350 series that is a type 2 pc card. It is recognized as soon as I insert it into a pcmcia slot.
Am I out of luck with the Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g cardbus adapter, or is there a bios upgrade so that my cardbus adapter is recognized?
Thanks for any assistance provided.
