bidirectional on TP 600X (2645-5EU)

Hi guys,

I have some problem with my thinkpad 600X(2645-5EU).
I need to using Paralel port to support bidirectional. i was change manually from TP configuration, but my software still cant found bidirectional port. any suggestion?? thanks a lot

IN the thinkpad configuration, Click on the PARALLEL PORT icon, click "enable" and choose "Bi-directional" in the mode list.
Hit Ok and exit. If it needs to reboot, do so.
after reboot, click start, settings, control panel, system. device manager. scroll to ports (com & LPT) expand the folder and check what LPT port you are using- LPT1 or LPT2, etc.
You may have to tell your software what port you use to solve your problem.

Hi freeman,

I was followed the instruction...to activated the port under TP configuration, but still same. we're using LMT siemens software...but we've other thinkpad and isn't problem, TP T21..any idea or suggestion?? thanks
