600X TV out card

Hey, I just stumbled upon this old post searching for a TV-out card for ThinkPad 600X 2645-4EU.

I crammed an 850mhz MMC-2 into it a few years back and it runs great. Speedstep enabled, controlled through SpeedSwitch XP (WinXP Pro SP3)

I used to have a 600E and it had a TV-out card. This one doesn't, but has place for it with a plug in the port where connector would be.

Will this laptop support a TV-out card? If so, do you have one that will work?

Thanks.

The TV card is FRU 10L1352 as shown here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... DQ2BF.html I believe that you can plug one in and get it to work but it's been years since I played with this on the 600X.

I don't know if I can hijack this thread, but I figured I didn't need to start another related topic. I'm trying to get my TV out port working also.

600x 2645-5fu, Windows xp pro. 320meg ram

A few days ago, I bought the tv out cord. I got a newer model cord than what was listed for my tkpd because it was about $30 cheaper. I tried the XP vid driver and there was no option to use TV out. So, reading a couple of older posts I downloaded the Win 2k vid driver and now I have the option to switch to tv.

I switch the laptop's color depth to 16 bit. and still nothing :? .
Is there a way to verify that there is actual signal coming out of the plug and the tv out card is actually working?
Is there a replacement card from a newer model thinkpad that will work?
Is the video on the motherboard or is that on an individual card also?
How about other video drivers?

Thank you for any help you can offer.
