Have you installed a DVD drive into a Thinkpad 380D?

Older ThinkPads.. from the 600, the 7xx, the iSeries, 300, 500, the Transnote and, of course, the 701

Have you installed a DVD drive into a Thinkpad 380D?

Has anyone out there already installed a DVD drive into an IBM Thinkpad 380D?

I'm only interested in approaches which will leave the laptop intact. I don't want to hack into it, cut anything, or spoil the laptop. Should I wish to, in future, I want to be able to restore the currently existing CD drive to the 380D perfectly.

Along the same lines, can anyone suggest a productive use for the existing floppy drive bay? Again, no cutting or hacking. I realize there might not be any good uses for this bay. But I have to admit my (albeit working perfectly) floppy drive does not see a lot of use these days.
