New BIOS?

Well problems again I just wiped out the hard drive to load new OS. Getting NTLDR error. How can I load a newre version of BIOS? Can I download a new version to a floppy? Which version and where to get it. Thanks for the help I'm going to get this 600 working!!

Not sure if I fully understadn what your issues were from previous HD

The BIOS updates for the 600 (not 600E or 600X) can be found here:

You download the file, execute it, agree to all of the conditions and then insert a blank floppy and it will create the boot disk to update the BIOS. You then boot the 600 with that floppy and it will guide you through the update process. You must have a good battery in order to do this update.

All of that said, your problem with the NTLDR error could be as simple as completely erasing the hard drive and re-installing the OS.
