I went on the Lenovo website, but I can't find any information about this model.

Edit: I found the drivers, but I'd like to know what this laptop specifically is.

This is one of the coolest ThinkPads ever made...they are a real collectors item. It was expensive and reflected a radical design keyboard know as the butterfly.

I am sure others can provide input...I have owned three of them over the years. My first one was a company provided laptop that I took on a motorcycle across Asia and to the basecamp of Mt. Everest. They were extremely rugged and very user friendly. IBM used the 701 model number for a government computer in 1952...just a little trivia.

Bill,

Do you have experience with the CMOS battery on this?
Is it possible to run this laptop off AC without changing the CMOS battery?

Thanks.

But that link is broken for me.

But the Wiki page has a link to the same document.

I am waiting to receive this laptop to see what it actually has. I will probably be putting Linux with an older kernel on it.
