IBM Access Connections with 600X and wireless card?

I'm considering downgrading my 600X from Windows XP to Windows 2000, and the only thing I'll miss is automated easy wireless connections. I have a wireless PC Card that uses an Atheros b/g chip (it's a Sony PCWL-C800S or some closely similar name - I don't have it handy). Will IBM Access Connections (which I use very happily on T42) work with this 3rd-party hardware?
