does my tp240 need a new mainboard??

#1 Post by mnowell69 » Fri Sep 30, 2011 5:14 pm

i have 2 thinkpad 240s. A plain tp240 (celeron300) and a tp240x with p3 500. PROBLEM is that my plain tp 240 will not boot from good battery. If i boot using ac power and then pull the ac power (with the battery attached of course) the laptop works fine on the battery. Of course bothe batteries from both machines work fine in the tp240x.
