Adding SSD to E420S

Hello, I recently got my E420S and really like it so far! I attempted to install a 2.5" G.Skill Sniper SSD to replace the 320GB HDD, but upon installation I realized that a standard SSD (9mm?) will not fit and I will need smaller.

Has anyone come across this issue, but were sill able to get it in after some force or something?
