Stuck Key Error?Motherboard or keyboard?

So I spilled a very little bit of juice on the keyboard of my 14inch Edge.. Computer was working a few keys were not. Then computer shut down. When I tried to restart all I got were beeps screen would not load. I am out of warranty. I dropped my computer to a Lenovo service provider they told me it was the motherboard. I said forget it I will just buy a new laptop (T420) with 3 year warranty this time.
Well, as I waited for the new one I attempted to power on the laptop again. Lo and behold it powered on. But this time it was beeping and said, "Error 0210: Stuck Key 7D. I powered it off again and then it restarted. They keyboard does not work but I have a mouse. So i did a google search and it seems like they keyboard error occurs to people with and without spills. However, no one said the resolution. Was it a new keyboard. It stinks because I have a new T420 coming in tomorrow but it seems all I need/needed was a new keyboard.

Did not find anyone solutions for the two people who posted a similar problem on this forum.
What have you heard? What do I do with the new laptop. That costs alot of money.
