Software installation doesn't proceed

Hey dear thinkpad users,
My first post, hope I do everything right.
Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330; Windows 7 , 64 bit;
My problem:
To activate my Internet, I have to use a setup on a CD which activates the WIFI of my router, or enables me to use the Wifi of my router.
Because my laptop doesn't have an cd-player I used an external one. The setup screen pops up and I can proceed to the next window via clicking continue. But then after clicking the next button the window vanishes and nothing more will happen.
I tested this on another computer, with the same external cd-player. It worked. The window vanishes and another one pops up.
It is a japenese software / Cd / internet.
I bought my lenovo thinkpad in Germany.
I tried to change the region in my control panel to Japan but it didn't help.
I tried to use the adminstrator mode but it won't even show the first window.
I don't have any other device to do the setup with at my home, the computer was the one at work.
If somebody has any suggestions I will be very very thankful.
With best regards from tokyo,
