Annoying Thinkpad Edge Ad

#1 Post by brucegiord » Wed Jan 06, 2010 8:30 am

No comments on the Thinkpad Edge itself. I do find the ad on the Lenovo site extremely annoying though. It now seems to be in a loop as the ad takes over again even if you select to return to Lenovo.com. Luckily there's a fastpath I can use to check the status of my non-Edge Thinkpad order without getting stuck in this.

When I get those silly looping/repeating ads, I just pause it or turn the volume down to 0!
(also shows that Lenovo are having to advertise the Edge to get people to buy it as well )

I am curious to see an AMD versus intel comparion on the edge laptop. In PC's the best AMD stuff is usually slower than the best intel, but the more budget processors are really comparable and AMD wins at a given price point. Curious how it goes with laptops.
