Buying a Thinkpad Edge

Hi folks,
I live in Australia, and I'm looking to purchase an Intel Thinkpad Edge. Unfortunately, the Lenovo website here only offers it in matte black, while the American site doesn't appear to offer it in anything other than matte or glossy black.
My question is: does a red edition of the Intel model actually exist? If so, where would I be able to buy one?
Thanks

Like most things that are new it is probably a good idea to wait a few weeks to see what happens with supply and demand. It looks a cool piece of hardware. If they are advertising that red ones will be available then sit back and wait ... if you can.

Hmm yes, however the notebook has been out for 2 months - and I remember it initially being offered in red on the North American site. It appears they've reduced the available options!

It's not really a Thinkpad, so folks don't care too much about it here (the Edge forum is located under the Non-Thinkpad Lenovo... heading!).

I'm also in the market for a red one (my wife MUST have this colour) and the UK site does not offer it either, however, I have found it available from a couple online dealers (such as "insight.com"). Unfortunately, it's only available in an AMD turion configuration without mobile broadband. We wanted an Intel config with.
(Ironically, I'm in South Africa at the moment and I can buy exactly what I want here except that it's waaay more expensive than the UK.)
So, without meaning to teach anyone to suck eggs, perhaps there's an Australian retailer that offers the colour. Lenovo UK were able to tell me what models were in the distribution channel, perhaps Lenovo Australia can do the same.
