I connected my HDTV to my 14 inch edge with an HDMI but I could not get anything to work.
I used the "connect to a projector app" that pushing the f6 fn button opens but nothing came on the screen of my HDTV.
I even went to the bios and switched the "Thinkpad LCD" setting to "Digital: HDMI" but nothing happened there either.
Is there something that I am doing wrong??
Using the HDMI port on the edge
Re: Using the HDMI port on the edge
Ive been using HDMI to connect to my monitor and TV. No need to adjust anythign but sound output settings. I find its better if the TV is set to the HDMI port before plugging in but otherwise, should be plug'n'play.

Re: Using the HDMI port on the edge
No problems here either. I am using a thinkpad edge with Windows media center, connected to my Samsung TV's HDMI port, and it works great.
