Does 3 cell battery from X100e fit Edge 11

Can anyone confirm that the 3 cell battery of the Thinkpad X100e = Lenovo ThinkPad Battery 17 / 57Y4558 also fits 100% for the Edge 11 series Thinkpads 
Theoretically that should work out since the chassis of the Thinkpad X100e hardly differ from that of the Edge 11 notebooks
Please advice how it is the case in practice
