We have several T410 and T510 Thinkpads, not to mention earlier models such as the T4x, T5x and T6x.
We are very satisfied with them.
One staff member, who wants to acquire a laptop, noticed that the pricing of the Edge series seems to be lower (we are looking on CDW.COM in case that matters).
Is there a difference in quality (sturdiness, reliability) between the Edge models and the more "traditional" Thinkpads?
Thank you in advance.
Edge series versus T410 or T510

Yes. T-series machines are sturdy and reliable business notebooks. Edge models are cheap consumer-level notebooks (though good as far as those are concerned.)DM1 wrote:Is there a difference in quality (sturdiness, reliability) between the Edge models and the more "traditional" Thinkpads?
