Edge Power Cord

#1 Post by flamenco » Fri Oct 07, 2011 10:53 am

Hello, Thinkers,
I just upgraded from my old r61i to an Edge E520. Wow, very nice machine! Just getting used to the touchpad gestures and all that.

Anyway... the power cord for the E520 is pretty short. My old power cord for the R61i is considerably longer. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use the old power cord? It looks pretty similar, wattage and volts, same manufacturer, I think.

Thanks for your opinions!
Cheers, Dave

The Edge E520 and Edge E15 models use the same 65w 20v Lenovo AC adapters that many other models use. You may also use higher wattage adapters. Since the E520 only requires 65w, feel free to use any Lenovo adapter that fits.
