Can X1-E Gen2 use DDR4-3200?

#1 Post by Thinkpad2024 » Mon Dec 01, 2025 5:27 pm

I'm planning to upgrade my X1 Extreme Gen2. Does anyone know if it can run at 3200MHz or should I just go with the DDR4-2666? While I'm at it, does anyone sell 48Mb RAM sticks? I'd like to upgrade to 64 and it seems like a waste to throw away the 16 I currently have.
