I'm surprised the latest post on this forum is from Dec-28 and there has been no talks about the
New X1 Carbon yet.

I know that I sure as heck would never own something like that. I might be picking up the previous X1C in the next few months.

It looks really good to me ... but I was impressed by my wife's full-spec X1C that we bought over 12 months ago.
It's only the operating system that seems poor. Win8 looks like a child's toy OS.

I just hope that the X1C would recognize hand gestures with a Win7 install...
I'm sure there are guides out there to customize Windows 8.x to work as a proper desktop/laptop.
