I have a Lenovo Carbon X1. It is two years old. It works well but for a few issue: the volume keys doesn't work on the keyboard (I need to go to the taskbar to raise or lower the volume- this has been since the beginning), once in a while the keyboard mousepad will get stuck, and a few times I've gotten a blue screen - see error message pasted below.
Lenovo is offering to replace the motherboard. However, I have read that since they usually replace it with refurbished ones, they never work as well as the original. Should i replace it or not?
Really appreciate the advice!

Welcome to the forum!
Have Lenovo swap the motherboard, presuming that the machine is still under warranty and you're not paying for that replacement.
I wouldn't be concerned one bit about the "new" vs. "refurbished" part, as long as it's on their dime.

Re: Lenovo Carbon X1 - Worth replacing the motherboard?
Hmm, that deaddead blue screen event listing has always been a wireless card driver issue for us where I work. Granted this was NOT for the X1 Carbon but rather for an older T series (T420s/T430s) machines. But that shouldn't matter any I wouldn't think.
But my answer to your question would be to get the motherboard replaced for free and keep using the laptop.
