X1 gen4 keyboard unresponsive after sleep

Ok...i got this x1 gen4 which fails to respond after sleep ...none of the keyboard keys including power responds and whole system hangs after coming back from sleep ....so either i wait for battery to drain and when it comes up i see keyboard not found and the next boot everything is fine again

1) I have update to latest BIOS
2)tried to search for where Keyboard can be allowed to wake the PC ...but thats not present in keyboard settings

At my wits end as i lost my work twice because of this new X1 ....might disappointing ... appreciate inputs

You probably have that crappy Windows 10, that causes all sorts of unpleasant problems.
Dump W10 and go back to W7.

Make sure that Hibernation and Hybrid sleep are both OFF. Only use Suspend. I have an X14th generation with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit set as I just suggested and it suspends and wakes just fine.
