onelink charging. SOLVED!

Hi,

i just buy onelink for my X1 4th gen. to office when i have 2 monitors, extra keayboad, etc. (so i need it, because in the another way i have to plug many hardware everyday ) but now i afraid about battery lifetime by how i use my X1. Before i bought onelink i everytime fully charged X1 and then i use them until 6% and then i fully charged again, so battery lifetime should be the highest all the time. But now i have to plug/unplug supply more often because onelink. For example i unplug supply when battery is fully charged (morning), then i use 10% of battery and then i have to plug supply again, because onelink in an office and because i have many meetings by day so now i every often plug/unplug X1 from supply (onelink) again again. So charging looks like this: 100% - 89% - 100% - 76% - 100% - 98% - 100% - 55% - 100% and so on. Next day is the same. Is this scenario bad for battery? Can i reducing a battery life or even lifetime of battery by this? If yes, can i turn off charging from onelink?

1. Just a clarification, for X1C4 (X1 Carbon 4th Gen, circa 2016), it is actually a OneLink+ Dock.
ie: with the "+" at the back.
X1C4 can only use OneLink+ Docks.

2. This is because X1C3 (X1 Carbon 3rd Gen, circa 2015) uses the OneLink Dock.
ie: without the "+" at the back.
X1C3 can only use OneLink Docks.

3. Unfortunately we have never used the OneLink+ Dock for our X1C4.
We only buy Dock equipment if Thinkpad can maintain the same Docking Equipment for 2-3 generations of Thinkpads, so that we can share Docks as needed.

4. ***If you use the Thinkpad Power Manager program in your X1C4 (ours use Win7 and Power Manager), you can change your power plan to "Optimize for Battery" by:
[Power_Manager]>>[Battery_Tab]>>[Battery_Maintenance]>>[Optimize_for_Battery_Health]

This above (4) setting limits your battery charging to maximum of 50% charge, which is supposed to lengthen your battery life in your X1C4.
Above all, avoid deep/full battery discharge in your X1C4 (we try to avoid <10% battery situations), and do not overheat your battery, as these situations is usually what hurts your battery longevity over time.

Unfortunately Lenovo doesn't have power manager utility for windows 10.

This is new, and we have confirmed to work with X1 Carbon Gen 3 (X1C3, circa 2015), and Windows 10:

Lenovo now has a new utility in Win10 Windows Store for free that allows you to control threshold settings for the charging your battery.
eg: charge when below 45%, stop charging at 55%. Or change your charging settings to whatever you like.

It has the same functionality as the Power Manager from Windows 7.

In short, you do not need to force Lenovo Power Manager onto Windows 10 anymore.

It's utility named Lenovo settings. I try it because i found something about this on internet, but there is no option to somehow set charging or maybe i don't have allowed this function for some reason.

Ok i tried install that utility again and it works! BUT before you have to install SystemInterfaceFoundation driver then install "new update package to Lenovo Settings" (n1lsd29w.exe), then update the ulitility, then install additional components of that utility and after you doing this, you have an option change settings of charging.
