X1 carbon 1st gen

#1 Post by cfds » Fri Aug 11, 2017 8:39 am

Looks like my mSATA SSD has given up...so I will replace the SSD and reinstall a fresh Win 7.
The problem is that I only have a home edition here. Where can I find the OEM Lenovo recovery DVD's. I bought them in the past for a x200...

Thx in advance,

Yves

Thx RBS, 35€ seems a bit steep though...

Bought a recovery DVD set only to remember afterwards that I made a recovery set myself before deleting and repartitioning my HDD...Used the "self-made" recovery set to install win 7 onto my new Samsung mSATA SSD.
Computer is a blaze with its new SSD...there is plenty of life in this laptop!
I could use the DVD set maybe for my other X1C so its not a total loss...
