Serial Number problem !
Serial Number problem !
Hi there! I have a x1 carbon 2nd gen and I was wondering if there was any way to find the Serial Number other than through the BIOs?
Thing is the sticker was removed and since I have a problem and can't start up the computer... I can't access the BIOs...
If anyone has some suggestions

Welcome to the Forum.
Take Option 1 here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/soluti ... oduct-name to get the S/N.
But even if you have the S/N, it won't help you starting the laptop.
You need to tell us exactly what the problem is.
And if you can't access the BIOS, it most likely has a (Supervisor) Password.

Concerning my laptop problem, I was watching a video the other day and suddenly the screen just froze and then when I tried to restart it, it goes on for 1sec (just hear a short fan noise) and then it powers off and this process repeats endlessly (start powers off, start powers off...).
I tried to unplug it and try with/without the power cable and the green light blinks 3 times and then whole process starts again.
Anyways, long story short I tried to contact Lenovo for support but it seemed hardly possible to do so without the S/N and so this is why I asked the question!

Perform a Reset as per this: https://is.wfu.edu/help-articles/hard-r ... x1-carbon/
If that doesn't help, remove charger.
Remove laptop bottom and remove internal battery.
Press and hold down the power button for 20 seconds, this resets the laptop a different way.
Attach only charger and try to boot.
If successful, switch off, remove charger and attach battery, try to boot again.
If successful, put the bottom back and re-attach the charger.
If that doesn't help, remove charger.
Remove laptop bottom and remove internal battery.
